ii) ‘Safety Award 2008’ on 21.12.2008 by the Institution of Engineers (India) Ltd., for significant contribution to Mumbai suburban system.
v) Award of Excellence from Ministry of Urban Development towards improvement in Urban Mobility in the city of Mumbai through managing Suburban Rail Mumbai Urban Transport Project, on 05.12.2009.
vi) Greentech Award for outstanding achievement in Environment Management from Greentech Foundation, on 12.10.2009.
viii) India Pride Awards-2010 to recognize the contribution of Public Sector in the Development of Indian Economy, organised by DNA & Dainik Bhaskar Group, on 13.09.2010
ix) MOU Excellence certificate 2008-09 for excellent achievement in MOU targets by Department of Public Enterprises – Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Govt. of India (presented by Dr. Manmohan Sigh, Hon’ble Prime Minister, on 15.12.2010.
xi) ‘Performance Excellence Award’ during the ‘Infra 2009’ Conference held at New Delhi on 14.12.2009.
xiii) Certificate of Appreciation for the efforts being put in place for improving Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) systems – SHE Award 2010 organised by Confederation of Indian Industry(CII), on 29.04.2011.
xiv) MRVC was awarded the Second Prize for the progress made in the implementation of Official Language in the year 2017-18 by the City Official Language Implementation Committee, Mumbai.
xv) Second Prize for Outstanding Implementation – The Award Committee of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee of the Undertakings / Corporations in the year 2018-19 gave the second prize to MRVC in a large group (less than 300 employees) for the excellent implementation of the official language.
xvi) MRVC was awarded the Second Prize in the category of less than 300 employees for the excellent implementation of official language during the year 2019-20 in the 65th meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee held on 30.07.2020.
xvii) MRVC has been awarded the First Prize in the category of less than 300 employees for excellent official language implementation during the year 2020-21 in the 67th meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee held on 16.07.2021.
xviii) Town Official Language Implementation Committee of Mumbai Undertakings has been awarded the MRVC Second Rajbhasha Prize for excellent official language implementation works during the year 2022-23 in the 71 meeting of the Committee held on 25.07.2023.
