Procedure for Disqualification of Bidders, Firms who engage in Misrepresentation / Fraudulent / Corrupt Practices.

Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation requires that Bidders, Suppliers, Contractors, and Consultants, should observe the highest standard of ethics during the procurement and execution of the contracts. Where there is sufficient and strong evidence on record to believe that the employee/conractor/suppliers have been guilty of malpractices such as bribery, corruption, fraud pilfering or unauthorized use or disposal of government material issued for specific work etc,. Corporation shall follow the procedure stipulated in the Vigilance Manual Chapter 11 for suspension and banning of business dealings with suppliers and contractors. Vigilance Manual is available online at link www.indianrailways.gov.in (Railway Board Directorates /Vigilance).

The above procedure for disqualification of bidders, firms who engaged in misrepresentation/fraudulent/corrupt practices is approved by the Managing Director/MRVC.
